Bag Snob

Member those Louis Vuitton Tribute Bags that everyone in the blogisphere was talking about? I thought it was more for show than anything else (hence the word tribute) and outright ridiculous priced at $42 000! Looks like the machines went haywire and they tried to salvage what's left, calling it patchwork. If I saw someone trying to rock it, I told myself I would just laugh at the poor label junkie who obviously has fallen not for the bag, but for Marc Jacobs. USA Today said:

"No word yet on who would pay the equivalent of a college education for the
Vuitton Tribute, a startling-looking bag designed by Marc Jacobs and made up
of pieces of 15 Vuitton bags."

OH BEYONCE!! Really?? You LIKE the bag?? She was seen recently at TRL clutching onto it with a smile on her face.

Maybe I'm not getting it. Can someone please explain the appeal? Do you like the bag?
