Okay, so I was shopping online at
Net-A-Porter, (you know channeling my inner rich model with money and time to spare) when I decided, pretty good everything I want. Let's check out. In one online shopping spree at, say, Forever21, Aldo, or American Apparel my total usually reaches like $400 - $600 and let me tell you, I don't hold back. But this total actually shocked me, mainly because I figured I was even showing restraint! But before I reveal the total.... let me show you my (dream) purchases!
First up were these Balmain Fringed Leather Boots. I think they are amazing and at $1025 are ridiculously pricey. Knockoffs are flying off the shelves at around $200. However, there's just something about having the original that my inner rich girl reasons is a good investment.
Spring is just weeks away and I couldn't help myself going through the bathing suits! This one is gorgeous, called 'Glass Print Bikini' (though I get more of an edgy tribal feel), and is by Matthew Williamson. Beachwear for sure, just lounging around! At $265 it also seems (somewhat) obtainable.....okay I know we're in a recession! Must. Stop. Damn Shopoholic has me thinking this is 'obtainable'!
Then there was the beautiful Oscar de la Renta Silk Skirt that's $1, 290. The uniform print and unique structure give it sophistication but with some edgy shoes and chic blazer I could work it more boho-rocker. Ah....versatile. But let me show you the importance of STYLING. On the site the skirt looks like this:
Alright, not bad. Showcasing the skirt with a white shirt, but here it looked like nothing special to me. Now look at how it was styled on the runway:
Ahhh! Much better! This picture made me fall in love with the skirt and I think did the skirt more justice.
This is one HOT leather biker jacket. Rick Owens is a genius. I really want a white one, it would have a better impact. The black is LUXE none the less. Price Tag: $2, 900. Damn the most expensive thing on my list.
Miu Miu my love! This iconic Coffer Bag and a 2.55 Chanel bag are all I need. It looks gorgeous and the colour would work with anything. Plus I'm really liking bags with the normal shoulder strap AND the messenger length strap.
And lastly, this blogger favorite, which has grown on me to the point of near obsession. I NEED this in my life. Sure I would only be able to wear it in the city and not the 'burbs and my mom would die if she found out I paid that much for what she would believe to be a holey sweater, but WHATEVER. Needs to be MINE! The Alexander Wang Oversized Metallic Sweater Dress added what I initially thought would be a moderate $595. Oh yeah, can I add it is one size fits all...hmmm..thought it was kinda interesting, the site says if "doesn't fit" you can return it free of charge.
But anyway......it's time to reveal the total....

$8,712.60!!
Yikes! Luckily my alter ego has more money than she knows what to do with and I have to say, her purchases are SICK!
